Motorola is the dominant force in commercial Two-Way radios. The brief was to launch their new range of MOTOTRBO digital models with a massive impact, including a teaser stage. As the sole creative, freelancing at BTB Communications, I created the campaign idea “See what the future holds”. The teaser (above) was an email in the form of a rotating GIF, making the futuristic orb ‘pulse’ as it floated above the hand.
This was followed by a diecut dual-fold mailed invitation, lifting the orb revealed the radio.
I scripted and art directed two themed videos for the travelling launch the event, featuring comedian Peter Berner. Here is a mini version of one:
