A degree in graphic design at Swinburne was the stepping-stone to a successful career in some of Melbourne’s largest advertising agencies.

The first half of my career was spent learning how top agencies create excellent advertising and build brands. It was great to create campaigns for Myer, Holden, adidas, Peters ice cream, Heinz, Kraft, Safeway, BHP and Black & Decker.

I learnt my craft at Leo Burnett, JWT, Ogilvy & Mather, and Masius. Television, print and outdoor were the mainstays. They still are perfect for mass-reach brand building, but the digital revolution changed the landscape.

Now I apply those creative skills on every client, across owned, earned and paid media.

Along with traditional media, these days projects may include designing websites, eDM’s, digital ad campaigns, managing social media and branded content.
